My high school friend and I hit Thailand and Vietnam for a wild reunion of island hopping, motorbikes, and barely-there maps. We started in Thailand, bouncing between islands, dodging monkeys, and chasing sunsets from longtail boats. Then, fueled by too much iced coffee and an emergency-visa, we landed in Hanoi, rented motorcycles, and headed north, scratching the southern edge of China. It was a blur of winding mountain roads, local homestays, and jaw-dropping views we never quite captured on camera. By the end, we were sunburned, saddle-sore, and totally hooked on Southeast Asia.
